Cleodaeus
In Greek mythology, Kleodaeus was one of the Heraklides. He was the son of Herakles' eldest son Hyllus and Ioli of Oichalia. Kleodeos was the father of Aristomachus and grandfather of Temenos and Leonassis.
In other sources he is mentioned as an ancestor of the founder of the Macedonian royal house, Karanos. Cleodaeus led the third campaign to capture Mycenae, but failed.
He also had a daughter Lanassa, who married Neoptolemus and had many children by him, one of whom was named Pyrrhus.
In Sparta there was a sanctuary of Cleodaeus.
