Axios II (Carrier) / 3007, L-109, Formerly 'HMS-LST 3007'.

It was built in the British shipyards 'U.K. – Harland & Walt Ltd. Belgast. Launched on September 16, 1944. Commissioned on May 15, 1945. The Greek Flag was raised on April 28, 1947 in Rosneath, Scotland. It was used for military and government transport. Similar type: 'Acheloos III', 'Pineios III', 'Strymon II', 'Alpheios III' and 'Aliakmon II'. He returned in 1959 to Malta in the British Navy.
