The first Greek Miss Universe in 1964

Korinna "Kiriaki" Tsopei (Athens, June 21, 1944) is a Greek actress, winner of the Star Hellas beauty pageant, and Miss Universe 1964.

With her victory, she became the first Greek woman to win the Miss Universe title.

She is the daughter of military officer Georgios Tsopei (1914–1997) from Mani and Maria Tsopei. She has one brother, Vasilis, and one sister, Despina.

She has been married twice. Her first marriage was to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Steven Zax, from 1968 to 1978.

The couple had three sons: Andreas, Stefanos, and Georgios. They lived in Los Angeles, California, but frequently visited Greece. Tsopei's second marriage was to Hollywood theater and film agent Freddie Fields (brother of singer Shep Fields) from 1981 until his death from lung cancer in December 2007.

On June 20, 1964, Korinna was crowned Star Hellas by Despoina Orgeta (Star Hellas 1963) and represented Greece in the Miss Universe 1964 competition, held in Miami, Florida, on August 1. She triumphed over Miss Israel, Miss Great Britain, Miss Sweden, and Miss China, earning the Miss Universe title and bringing it to Greece for the first time. Since then, she has returned to the competition several times as a member of the judging panel.

After being crowned Miss Universe, she sought to pursue a film career in Hollywood, appearing in American movies and TV series such as A Man Called Horse, Daniel Boone, Lost in Space, Valley of the Dolls, and A Guide for the Married Man. As a model, she also promoted products such as Berkshire hosiery.

In addition to her career as an actress and model, Tsopei serves as the president of an organization dedicated to combating childhood leukemia.
