The statue of King Leonidas of Sparta, Brunswick, Australia

Designer: Petros Georgariou (Greece The statue of King Leonidas was commissioned by the City of Brunswick to celebrate the Memorandum of Understanding between Sparta and Brunswick. The statue which cost $30,000 has been the subject of local controversy. For many years Brunswick was known as the suburb of Spartans. An influx of migrants from the Laconian region of Greece, including its capital Sparta, moved in during the 1950s and 1960s and gave the suburb some of its best bakeries, cafes and shops. The new residents formed a social organisation called the Pallaconian Brotherhood. Front Inscription "Leonidas" King of ancient Sparta died at the Battle of Thermopylae 480BC (Greek spelling) Left Side Inscription This memorial was erected by Moreland City Council and the Pallaconian Brotherhood in memory of all those who have sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy. It symbolizes the enduring friendship between the people of Greece

Κυρίως για την εμφάνιση της, την φυσική ομορφιά της, τα σμαραγδένια μάτια της ή τις πιο ερωτικές ματάρες του Instagram , όπως έχουν γράψει. Για μας η ομορφιά της δεν είναι ο μόνος λόγος ούτε ο κύριος λόγος για να γράψουμε για την Ανθή. Δεν θέλει κόπο ούτε τρόπο για να γεννηθείς με όμορφα χαρακτηριστικά. όπως αρκετοί άνθρωποι. Αντ' αυτού η προσπάθεια, η θέληση, ο αγώνας, η επιμονή, η σκληρή δουλειά, είναι αυτά που έχουν σημασία και τα βρήκαμε όλα στην Ανθή. Μιλήσαμε μαζί της, πρόκειται για μια πανέξυπνη γυναίκα που έχει 'έναν πολύ δικό της χαρακτήρα. Τι ξεχωρίζει την Ανθή. Κάτι που στην χώρα μας δεν είναι τόσο γνωστό στον γυναικείο πληθυσμό. Οι αγώνες bodybuilding γυναικών. Το γυναικείο bodybuilding/fitness έκανε δειλά δειλά την εμφάνισή του τη δεκαετία του '60 μέσα από τους αγώνες NABBA Universe.

Ο λεγόμενος Ήλιος της Βεργίνας, ΠανΕλλήνιο σύμβολο A relief sculpture depicting Helios with a rayed halo (Athena's temple, Ilion, early 4th century BC) The Vergina Sun was not used only by ancient Macedonians but by other ancient Greek states as well. It was a pan-Hellenic symbol . Achilles and Ajax playing a board game. Eight-pointed sun symbols are depicted on their cloaks. Amphora by Exekias, 6th century BC, The Vergina Sun is also known as the Star of Vergina, Vergina Star, Macedonian Star or Argead Star. Goddess Athena was a Virgin, so this Sun was associated with her. ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ Ephesus (/ˈɛfəsəs/;Greek: Ἔφεσος Ephesos; Turkish: Efes; ) was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, three kilometres southwest of present-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. It was built in the 10th century BC on the site of the former Arzawan capital by Attic and Ionian Greek colonists. During the Classical Greek era it was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League. The city flourished after it came under the control of the Roman Republic in 129 BC History The city of Ephesus was founded, according to Eusebius, in 1045 BC by Athenian and other Ionian colonists at the outfalls of the river Caystrus, close to two low elevations, the mount Preon or Lepre Akte and the mount Pion. The development of the city was fast and was related to the cult of Artemis, which in its local Ephesian version incorporated elements from the cult of Cybele. However, the real cause of its development, which culminates for the first time in the 6th century BC, was its financial strength.
